In 1999 when Kit Bennett created her first website AmazingMoms.com she had no idea her "pet project" was really the first step of an exciting new career for her and her husband Rick.
Although the Internet has certainly gone through significant changes over the years, one element still holds true and that is site visitors want relevant information, products and resources they can trust. LRK&A will continue to provide all of that and more through our network of

Kit Bennett is a mother, teacher, children's activity expert and mompreneur.
Driven by her dynamic creativity and the desire to help parents enrich childhood experiences for their kids, Kit founded a series of successful businesses, including Music Movement and Me, Party Sensations, and Amazingmoms.com. Kit’s expertise has been sought after by radio, print and online media, and Fortune 500 companies such as Sara Lee.
 
Kit launched Amazingmoms.com in 1999 to provide parents with simple, fresh and practical family fun solutions. With Kit’s authentic voice and organic SEO practices, Amazingmoms.com quickly became a trusted source for millions moms, attracting over half a million unique visitors each month as they search online for kids party ideas, crafts and family activities.

Kit’s ability to gain trust from parents with her approachable and actionable guidance has enabled her to become a leading affiliate marketing channel for many e-commerce operations, including Birthday In A Box and Celebrate Express.

In March of 2007, to broaden the Amazingmoms.com audience and continue her mission, Kit partnered with Kaboose Inc.  through an asset acquisition. As General Manager, she continued to oversee the daily operations. In 2009, The Walt Disney Company acquired Amazingmoms.com to further strengthen its portfolio of brands that serve the needs of parents and while it was tempting to follow Amazingmoms.com on this new journey, Kit's irrepressible pioneer spirit let her to pursue new projects.

Kit lives with her husband Rick in Woodstock, New York where her creativity and resourcefulness continue to churn out new ideas to help busy families.
